Our Teen Ministries
Confirmation: Pastor meets with grades 7 and 8 in a classroom setting. Using the Bible and Luther’s Small Catechism the class explores the basics of the Christian Faith. Higher Things: The highlight of our Youth Group’s year is the annual trip to a Higher Things conference. At Higher Things we worship, study, and play together with hundreds of Lutheran youth from all over the country. Youth Group: Bible classes are held for the youth (grades 9-12) during the Sunday School hour. In addition to the Youth Bible Classes, the youth schedule a number of social, service, and fundraising activities. Much of the fundraising is done over the year to help defray the cost of attending the Higher Things Youth Gathering each summer.
